Phishing....

You may have noticed a couple emails in the last few weeks that appear to be sent by OutlawNet. These emails claim that OutlawNet has upgraded some equipment, or that there is a virus circulating, and that we need your usernames and passwords in order to accomplish something. These emails are completely false, we would never and will never ask for your account information via email.

This type of practice is called "Phishing." They are simply "fishing" for your information. They "cast" an email out to every single address @outlawnet.com and just sit and wait for people to "bite." It's not a new scam, but one that, in our case, has increased in frequency. The best way to combat this scam is to simply not respond.
